Founded in 2000 by industry executives with a vision to provide practical animation skills and create career-ready artists, it provided specialized training in visual effects production and later introduced the game production program in 2014. DAVE became the first accredited US college to offer a diploma in virtual production in 2021, the Trifecta of its core production curricula.

The DAVE School collaborates with collegiate Housing Services(CHS) to provide a shared housing program near Universal studios. Students can choose their preferred level of comfort and privacy, all at an affordable rate.Monthly housing payments cover rent, furniture, and basic utilities.Each student’s lease is tailored to their academic schedule and remains fixed regardless of roommates
