Uskudar University is Turkey’s first thematic University in the field of Behavioral and Health Sciences. Uskudar University offers a wide range of programs with a “multidisciplinary approach” in Medicine, Psychology, Philosophy, health, Genetics, Communication, and Engineering Sciences. Uskudar University aims to be a world-class university by supporting research activities in more than 80 laboratories, R&D Units, BrainPark Incubation Center, siliconTurk, and Technopark.

Uskudar University which is the first thematic university in the field of Behavioral and Health sciences, is in Istanbul, the only city which connects two different continents in the world. Uskudar is one of the districts which is located in Anatolian side of Istanbul, right across the historical peninsula and at the starting point of the 15th July Martyr’s Bridge that connect Asia and Europe.Uskudar University named after this beautiful district that is at the crossroads of the world due to its special location.Uskudar is in one of the prestigious locations in Istanbul with transportation opportunities of sea, road and rail.
Uskudar University is a city university which has six campuses that are Medicine and Health Campuses in Umraniye,Main campus ,South campus, Carsi Campus in Uskudar and Girls’ Guesthouse in Nakkastepe.
The University is in the center of Istanbul’s transportation network.Making it easy for the students to reach the campuses with subway, Public buses and ferries.the students can enjoy their leisure time by taking a walk at the seaside or relaxing in the green parks of Uskudar.The University campuses are specially designed to be student friendly so the students can enjoy their free time in a peaceful environment. Students also have the opportunity to benefit from Istanbul’s authentic culture and unique atmosphere after their lessons.

They have Erasmus inter-institutional agreements with approximately 100 universities in 24 different European countries. They provide students with study and internship opportunities in many European countries. In addition, They are the coordinator of the European Internship Consortia which involves 5 prestigious Turkish universities and 2 NGOs
FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION AT USKUDAR UNIVERSITY
Students of Uskudar university get a lot of advantages through Uskudar university English Preparatory Program ALFSI and international agreements. Along with Uskudar university English Preparatory Program ALFSI, They offer opportunities from preparatory training to master program through agreements with universities, institutes and academics in Great Britain, the United States, Canada, Australia, Spain, Germany and even China. ALFSI Academy has agreements with university of California Los Angeles Extension, London College of Contemporary Arts, London school of Business and Finance, St Patrick’s College, Gisma Business School – Berlin and 360 GSP College and from America FLS and colleges, Cambridge Education Group. Thus, the students can attend to the preparatory programs of the relevant universities during 2 semesters of summer period optionally
